During the night the Easter Bunny came.

Abygail found a trail of eggs and M&Ms leading from the bedroom, down the stairs and into the living room.

Where the Easter Bunny left baskets for Abygail, Jackson and Daddy - each with a special egg from the Easter Bunny with their name on it.

After the excitement we all got ready for church. Abygail and Jackson had new easter clothes to wear. (it was perfect timing since they are both outgrowing their old clothes)

After church we had our Easter dinner of brisket, coleslaw and baked beans - it was yummy. We skipped hunting eggs. In the evening we went to our friends' house and had dessert - also VERY YUMMY!
I just love seeing pictures of the kids in their Easter Clother. It looks like you had a fun holiday! I love reading your blog. I miss you all. Love, Angela
ReplyDeleteOkay, hol-up, hol-up, hol-up. Did anyone wish anyone else a "Hoppy Easter"? If not, then I'm worried you're losing your cheese factor. That might not be a bad thing. But anyways, Hoppy Easter!
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like such a fun Easter. I had the idea to put candy at there bedroom door and lead out to their baskets, but Samantha has been waking up in the middle of the night and I thought I better not or we would have the egg hunt at 2am. That would not of been a happy Easter!!! Well, the kids look so beautiful!!!! They look bigger with every new picture you post. I can't believe Abygail is about to turn 2. It has gone by so quickly.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how that silly easter bunny always forgets to leave a basket for the moms? I didn't get one either.
ReplyDeleteyour kids look so cute. it's great that easter comes as the perfect excuse to buy new clothes.
Your kids look so cute in their new little outfits. From the look of Abygails hand she had fun dying eggs!
ReplyDeleteWhat happened to the babies? They look so grown up in their beautiful new clothes. You make everything so fun for the kids and your family. Loved talking to abygail on the phone. She is quite a talker! Would love to give them a big hug!! Amber, you look really slim! You must be back to your pre Jackson weight. What a beautiful family you are. Jason always looks the same..his old handsome self.
ReplyDeleteCute pictures! I might just steal your trail of candy idea. I'm trying to find ways to make little holidays be more exciting and creative.
ReplyDeleteAngela - we miss you too, you should start a blog so we can keep up with all of you.
ReplyDeleteRhia Jean - GIRL! you know I forgot to tell anyone Hoppy Easter. Definitely loosing my cheese factor.
Alicia - I debated on the trail too because Abygail always comes down stairs sometime in the middle of the night with Jason. I just told him to keep it dark and to not go in the living room.
Erica - yes, holidays completely change once you are a mom. it's so much fun doing it for them though. (Jason is usually pretty good but he didn't have a chance this time to get anything ready)
Rachel - we finally got the dye off :)
Judy - They are so grown up!!! I miss my BABIES!
Kelli - steal away! I personally think the name on the egg is one of the best ideas I've ever had. Trails are fun too because it helps them when they are young to figure out what is going on. (holiday colored M&Ms make for good rabbit droppings!)
