On our way home from Church yesterday, Jackson asked if we could go hiking. He was clearly reminiscing about our Labor Day trip to Letchworth State Park with Grandma and Grandad, where we had hiked around the water falls they have there. I couldn't think of a good reason to say no, so I said yes. Unfortunately the Caitlyn and Madelyn's nap schedule precluded them and Amber from coming...maybe next time. You will notice from the pictures that the trees are starting to get their fall colors.
Is this close to your house or did you have to drive to walk around there? It is absolutely gorgeous!!! I would want to go on a hike everyday to see that. Just amazing (at least to this Texan, it is)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures. I am glad that Jackson and Abygail enjoy nature and hiking. It is our favorite thing to do. Letchworth park was so amazing. We really enjoyed being there. I also enjoyed seeing the wind turbines on the landscape there in NY. I have heard about them but had never seen any before. They are really massive at 200 feet tall. Amazing! To bad Amber and the twins had to miss out on the adventure.
